VIDEO: North Dakota Public Service Commission Hearing on Summit CO2 Pipeline (April 11, 2023)
The North Dakota Public Service Commission (ND PSC) held the third of five planned public hearings on Summit Carbon Solutions’ proposed carbon pipeline in Wahpeton on April 11, 2023. The ND PSC will ultimately grant or deny Summit’s permit application, which would give the company eminent domain authority.
Across testimony that stretched from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., PSC Commissioners heard from a range of landowners who have filed as intervenors with the PSC in Summit’s pipeline permitting process, as well as from landowners’ attorney Brian Jorde, who spent a good deal of time grilling Summit’s Chief Operating Officer.
